Together we can reach sustainable growth and development, which will impact your happiness and health, you will be more engaged, productive, and effective, because you are investing in and utilizing your talents instead of trying to fix your weaknesses. Self-knowledge will lead to having a balanced, successful, and productive career and quality of life!
Everybody needs a coach every now and then. Take the next step in your development!
Research has shown that knowing, understanding and investing in your talents will transform your world. We tend to focus on and try to fix our weaknesses, however if you want to be successful you should develop your strengths. According to Gallup® “If you work with your strengths, you are three times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life and six times as likely to be engaged in your work". You will be more confident and more likely to achieve your goals. You are more likely to report having more energy, feeling well-rested, being happy, smiling or laughing a lot, learning something interesting, and being treated with respect. And you are less likely to report experiencing worry, stress, anger, sadness or physical pain.”
I work with a strengths-based approach, identifying and developing your talents, and encouraging you to use those talents to achieve growth, happiness, development, engagement, and improve your performance. I listen, try to understand and challenge you, while giving you guidance, support and encouragement to develop and strengthen your talents. I tailor my coaching style to the specific needs; whether it is the need to be guided or another person's desire to "figure it out as they go along". Understanding your strengths helps you, so you can do more of what you are already good at.
To identify your talents I use CliftonStrengths®, this is an assessment tool and methodology that helps to identify and understand your talents, unlock your full potential, show you where your talents add value, encouraging you to use your talents smartly. The tool measures your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, and categorizes them into the 34 Strengths. The Strengths are grouped in four Domains and these Domains describe how the themes help you make things happen, influence others, build relationships or work with information.
Each coaching programme is tailor-made, in accordance with specific requests, goals or wishes!
In a coaching process, you go through the following steps:
an introductory conversation
participation in the CliftonStrengths® Assessment
optional start and evaluation interview with family, friends or employer?
